We fully support the Paris Agreement and recognise the need to address the risks that members of the Plan face from climate change.
We acknowledge that there is an urgent need to accelerate the transition towards global net zero greenhouse gas emissions and do our part in helping deliver the goals of the Paris Agreement.
The Trustee of the Mellon Retirement Benefits Plan therefore commits to transitioning our investments to achieve net zero portfolio greenhouse gas emissions by 2050, or sooner.
